About Sterling County Court Docket

Sterling County court dockets are divided among the District Clerk, County Clerk, and countywide Justice Court. The 51st Judicial District Court also operates across a five-county district, while participating noncriminal cases may appear through re:SearchTX. This private reference resource organizes those paths so readers can identify the office, portal, address, or phone number that fits their own court matter.

Why We Built This Site

Public access in Texas depends on the kind of record and its custodian. Jerri McCutchen serves in two separate elected roles: District Clerk for 51st District Court files and County Clerk for County Court and probate records. Justice Court keeps traffic, small-claims, and eviction matters. re:SearchTX can help with participating noncriminal cases, but its described collection excludes criminal records. The goal is to connect each reader with the correct official source while keeping a docket summary distinct from a filed document or certified copy.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, county office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that a phone number, fee, or setting remains current

Only the clerk or court that maintains a Sterling County case can provide its official record or certified copy. The original document must come from that office.

Third-party providers power search boxes on some content pages. They operate their own services and choose their prices. A paid signup reached through such a tool may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. Sterling County Court Docket does not control the provider's charges, coverage, or results.
